Sermon: Passive Power/ Text: 1 Corinthians 15:1-11/ Preaching Date: 12/4/09, Easter - Resurrection of our Lord(Year B)/ Location: St Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Katanning, Western Australia
Focus: When we are dead we have no power. To have power is to be alive and in control. Yet the power of God is demonstrated in death. Jesus had no power when he lay in the grave, but God raised him from the dead. Jesus was passive in his death and resurrection and still he is all powerful. Our power comes from God in our passive adherence to the faith he give us. Grace Mercy & Peace. Friarpuk
